Davis Named Co-NE-10 Pitcher of the Week
Davis pitches two complete games shutouts, strikes out 21

LOWELL, Mass. (April 22, 2008) – Kyle Davis (Rochester, N.H.) was named the Northeast-10 Co-Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

Davis went 2-0 in two starts, and struck out 21 as UMass Lowell went 6-1 on the week. Davis allowed just six hits and struck out 10 in a 3-0 victory at Saint Rose (4/15).

The freshman right hander fanned a career-high 11 in a five-hit shutout in a 1-0 win over American International Sunday afternoon.

Kyle has more than a strikeout per inning, in his nearly 50 innings to date. He graduated from Spaulding High School in Rochester.
