Bio
Colton Lawrence will begin his first season with the Sanford Mainers organization this summer as an assistant coach.
A Farmington, Maine native and Mt. Blue High School alumnus, Lawrence continued his academic and athletic career at the University of Southern Maine. During his time with the Huskies, he made 73 pitching appearances—ninth all-time in program history—while compiling 98.2 innings pitched, a 3.47 ERA, and a perfect 6–0 career record.
A key contributor to one of New England’s premier Division III baseball programs, Lawrence was part of four consecutive NCAA Regional Tournament teams and helped the Huskies capture the 2021 Little East Conference Championship.
Following his playing career, Lawrence transitioned into coaching, player development, and facility management. He currently serves as the General Manager of Hitters Count Training Facility in Saco, Maine, while also working as a Director with the Southern Maine River Rats Showcase Program. Since 2021, he has helped more than 30 athletes continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level.
In addition, Lawrence serves as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine.
